A few other good cog-sci-y blogs that I’ve come across are Memoirs of a Postgrad, which is mostly about cognitive robotics, Cognitive Daily, which is reviews a lot of peer reviewed research and also does little informal “studies”, and Developing Intelligence, which tends to be more neuroscience-flavored. I also talk a little bit about cog-sci stuff on my blog, seeing as I’m an undergrad concentrating in cognitive science at Williams College.
A little bit of trivia: I’m a research assistant for a psychology professor here named Safa Zaki who spent a while at Indiana and talks about it a lot (she was there for post-doc, I think).

You might want to check out my blog (she said, modestly): http://cogscilibrarian.blogspot.com. It’s half cogsci and half library science — more for the general public than for cog scientists, but I am a fan of cogsci so I try to get the science right …
Even if you don’t, I hope you’ll check out your librarian — she / he can help you find great library materials on various aspects of cognitive science.
