So, if exercise increases neurogenesis, how do you explain the social stereotype of the nerd?

Which stereotype are you referring to? because I didn’t think good spatial recognition and long term memory were attributes of the nerdy stereotype.
I guess I need to do more running, maybe that’s why I get lost all the time and can’t get anywhere without Google maps on my cell phone.

The nerd stereotype I had in mind was one of higher gray matter density.
